Ashland, Oregon 2020

UPDATE as of April 1, 2020 (re: Covid-19)

Ashland Regional Status: Postponed.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival has made a public announcement that they plan to reopen Sept. 8 for two months with only a handful of shows, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Many other shows from the season have been canceled. Click here to read the announcement from OSF. It is our intention to reschedule the IASD Regional, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream Gathering” for late September or early October, dates still TBD as the show dates have not been posted yet by OSF. Stay tuned for more updates on the homepage of our website, and here on the Ashland regional website!

IMPORTANT as of MARCH 16, 2020 (re: Covid-19)

Ashland Regional Status: Postponed.

The IASD Regional, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream Gathering” scheduled for April 25-26, 2020 in Ashland, Oregon has a program that is dependent upon the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream being up and running on April 25. Due to the shutdown for four weeks mandated by Oregon Governor Kate Brown, all OSF shows have been cancelled through April 8. In addition, we have just learned that the CDC has recommended closing all gatherings of 50 or more for the next 8 weeks, which does not make the April 25-26 weekend possible any more for this regional. We are in discussion about postponing this regional until later this summer or fall, so if you are registered please consider waiting until the end of May at the latest, for an update on new dates if possible. If restrictions due to Covid-19 make it impossible to hold the conference, fees will be returned. The health of our attendees, presenters, and guest artists, is of utmost importance to us. As we receive more information, we will post updates on the homepage of our website, and on the regional website
