ANNUAL CONFERENCE STATUS

Annual Conference Status: On-going.

In light of the fact that our 2020 Annual Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona is months away in mid-June, and because Arizona has no emergency travel or other meeting limitation orders in place, there is no plan at this time to cancel the 2020 Annual Conference. At present we remain bound by our facility contract as well. We are managing the situation carefully, and your health is of utmost importance to us. We look forward to your joining us and want you to feel comfortable in registering now to take advantage of discounted rooms and fees. If at conference time restrictions make it impossible to attend or hold the conference, fees will be returned. For those who have already registered and are affected by the temporary 30 day travel ban to the US we ask for your support and patience until we can determine where events are taking us. As we receive more information, we will post updates on the homepage of our website, https://www.asdreams.org.

Don’t miss the IASD Annual Dream Conference being held in Scottsdale Arizona in June 2020! For upcoming presentation, registration, programming information, etc, please visit the conference website by clicking here.

ASHLAND REGIONAL CONFERENCE STATUS

Ashland Regional Status: Postponed.

The IASD Regional, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream Gathering” scheduled for April 25-26, 2020 in Ashland, Oregon has a program that is dependent upon the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream being up and running on April 25. Due to the shutdown for four weeks mandated by Oregon Governor Kate Brown, all OSF shows have been cancelled through April 8. In addition, we have just learned that the CDC has recommended closing all gatherings of 50 or more for the next 8 weeks, which does not make the April 25-26 weekend possible any more for this regional. We are in discussion about postponing this regional until later this summer or fall, so if you are registered please consider waiting until the end of May at the latest, for an update on new dates if possible. If restrictions due to Covid-19 make it impossible to hold the conference, fees will be returned. The health of our attendees, presenters, and guest artists, is of utmost importance to us. As we receive more information, we will post updates on the homepage of our website, https://www.asdreams.org and on the regional website https://www.asdreams.org/regionals/ashland2020/

EUROPEAN REGIONAL CONFERENCE STATUS

European Regional Status: Postponed.

The IASD Regional, “Waking up to Dream” scheduled for April 25-26, 2020 in Vilnius Lithuania is going to be postponed with an aim to host the event in the Fall of 2020. We are aware that many European countries have been imposing strict travel restrictions, and European universities are closing and restricting travel for their students and faculty. We are also keeping in mind the health and safety of our members and attendees, and for this reason have decided to postpone the IASD European Regional Event. If restrictions due to Covid-19 eventually make it impossible to hold the conference, fees will be returned. As we receive more information, we will post updates on the homepage of our website https://www.asdreams.org and on the regional website https://www.asdreams.org/regionals/vilnius/. We will get in touch by the end of May to communicate our plans for the postponed European Regional Event. We ask for your patience as we continue to monitor the situation and we hope you will be able to join us at the European Regional in the future.
