ASD Regional Meeting:
Dreams and
Healing

Daniel Deslauriers The San Francisco ASD Regional Meeting was our first event cosponsored with the California Institute of Integral Studies. Under the theme Dreams and Healing, several presenters including Jeremy Taylor, Stanley Krippner, Kelly Bulkeley, Daniel Deslauriers, Fariba Bogzaran, Alan Siegel, and Stephen LaBerge presented talks and workshops. The event was a success in all respects. Members flew from as far as Oregon to attend. Over 120 people came to hear Patricia Garfield’s invited address and 90 people stayed for the whole event. Many participants joined the ASD on site. The event ended on a moving note with a special healing gathering for Jessica Allen who was scheduled to present but had to decline because of her cancer. A compelling video of her work was shown that foreshadowed Jessica’s dance with death.
