Mark Anderson is a therapist with Creative Insight Counseling in Spartanburg, Mark is also an active artist and the Lassiter Professor of Art at Presbyterian College where he has taught since 1986.  He won the Best of Show and People’s Choice awards for his dream related artwork at the 2015 IASD conference in Virginia Beach.

Deborah Armstrong has been practicing as a Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Expressive Arts and Play Therapies for over 30 years. She completed research validating Lucid Dreams in School Age Children for her dissertation and has been presenting at the International IASD conferences since 1988. She teaches in a Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate program, is Coordinator for the Goddard College Expressive Arts specialization program, and maintains a private practice in Greenville, The Mindgarden Centre (www.themindgardencentre.com).

Steve Barrell is a concert & recording artist specializing in performance on 16th– early-19th century keyboard instruments. A certified paranormal investigator, past life regression & spirit releasement therapist, and facilitator for The Rhine’s Dreams Study Group, he is a recently ordained minister with the United Metaphysical Churches of Roanoke.

Robert Gongloff is the author of Dream Exploration: A New Approach, which helps dreamers identify the core “theme” – the “heart” – of the dream.  He has served as secretary, board chair, and president of IASD, and has hosted three international dream conferences. Robert Hoss, MS is a director and past president of IASD. He directs the DreamScience Foundation for research grants and is a Haden Institute faculty member. Justina Lasley, MA is an author and founder of the Institute for Dream Studies and developer of DreamSynergyTM, an innovative and comprehensive process using dreams for personal transformation. Justina shares her enthusiasm, keen insight, and talent for relating to others as a trainer, workshop leader, speaker, and 25-year dream enthusiast. (www.institutefordreamstudies.org/)

Tallulah Lyons facilitates dream work and guided imagery at cancer centers associated with two Atlanta hospitals. She is a co-creator of a nation-wide dream program for cancer patients and is on the summer faculty of the Haden Institute. She is the author of Dreams and Guided Imagery: Gifts for Transforming Illness and Crisis.

Allen Proctor is a Spiritual Director, Presbyterian Minister and a Director of The Haden Institute. Formal education: Davidson College, Columbia Seminary, Union Seminary New York and Gordon-Conwell Seminary. Throughout his ministry working with others on questions of identity, relationships, vocation and meaning, using dream work, the Enneagram, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, meditation practices and Celtic spirituality. Anne Reese (B.S., M.S.) is a retired public school art teacher from Virginia. She is a visionary artist, a ballroom dancer, and a member of the Blacksburg Regional Art Association.

Becky Stone is a storyteller who has told at schools, libraries, universities, and festivals over the last 25 years as a solo artist and with Thrice-Told Storytellers, a group that specialized in African American history and stories. She has also worked as an actor with local and regional theater companies. She portrayed Pauli Murray, Harriet Tubman, and Rosa Parks for Chautauqua in Asheville and Greenville and is currently working on Maya Angelou for Chautauqua 2017.

Robert Waggoner is author of the acclaimed book, Lucid Dreaming – Gateway to the Inner Self (now in its tenth printing) and co-author of Lucid Dreaming Plain and Simple.  A past president of IASD, Robert co-edits the free online magazine, Lucid Dreaming Experience and conducts online workshops at www.GlideWing.com. 

Jennie Wakefield (MA, RSME) is an associate teacher of Tamalpa Institute for movement-based expressive arts, a teaching artist with Greenville’s Metropolitan Arts Council, and an approved artist with SC Arts Commission. Benjamin Whitehurst, M.A. is founder at Navigate Change. A passionate proponent of dreamwork & authentic relating, he travels widely supporting people to feel more connected and alive in their communities. Benjamin holds a Masters of Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, and is a former Peace Corps Volunteer fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and Kaqchikel Mayan.
