DreamTime is published three times per year in January, May and September.

SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES

DreamTime is a publication of IASD which provides information and a forum for IASD members.

We welcome submissions on all aspects of dreaming, from the latest research on dreams to personal explorations of dream experience. Editing of materials will be done with an eye to both general and professional readership.

The editor reserves the right to edit articles for clarity and to operate within space restrictions. Opinions expressed in DreamTime, whether in articles, paid advertising, or other content, are those of the authors not the association. Publication in DreamTime does not necessarily imply the endorsement of IASD.

SUBMISSION DEADLINES

  • November 15 for January/February
  • March 15 for April/May
  • August 15 for September/October

Suggested length for articles: 1,200 to 1,500 words; longer articles are occasionally accepted. Please query before submitting.

All submissions, unless otherwise authorized, must be made online. Submissions should be sent to Editor, Jean Campbell.  The author’s name, e-mail address and phone number should appear on any initial contact information. Documents should be submitted online in Word or RTF format. Accompanying graphics should be sent at 300 dpi

Artwork: DreamTime is always looking for high-quality art based on, inspired by, or about dreams. Art may be used on the cover or for interior illustration. Occasionally an artist’s work may be featured in an article. Submissions should include a brief cover letter. We are also willing to look at scans of art and photos submitted electronically, but may require other formats if accepted for publication.

Letters to the Editor (send to Jean Campbell)

Readers are encouraged to write to the editor with general comments on dreams, matters related to IASD, and reactions to articles that have appeared in DreamTime. Unless otherwise noted by the author, all Letters to the Editor will be considered submissions and may be published or quoted in DreamTime.
