Dreams inspire aesthetic response. It is possible that the first dream inspired art galleries can be found on rocks and the walls like the Lascaux Caves in France. Access, however, has always been limited by geography, expense and time. Now dreams inspire artists to create in the new digital medium of light and personal galleries are created, maintained and quickly updated from one's own home.

Collections can be more extensive as the task of holding the art becomes distributed and simple links join the individual galleries together to create a theme gallery, such as this Dream Inspired Art Index Gallery.
