Transportation: The Wyndham O’Hare Hotel is conveniently located next to the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway, Interstate 90, 1.5 miles from O’Hare International airport.
Airport Shuttle: The airport shuttle is a free of charge 24 hour complimentary service. Call the hotel courtesy counter from O’Hare airport to request shuttle service. When returning, inform the hotel that you are reserving the airport shuttle to return to O’Hare airport.
The hotel shuttle picks up at two locations: Door 1 of the Bus Shuttle Center in the Domestic Terminal, and Door 5E of the International Terminal. From the Domestic Terminal, follow the large red arrows located on the floor that indicate "Bus Shuttle Center," as well as the signs located above in the terminal and baggage claim areas.
Directions from airport by car: Exit airport to Mannheim North. Proceed two miles through Higgins Road intersection. The Wyndham Hotel is on the left. The parking lot is just north of hotel. Taxi fee is $8.00 one-way.
Parking is at the reduced rate of $10 per day for hotel guests. For all others parking is $10 per visit. Special $10 reduced rate parking tickets for non-overnight guests and those visiting for the day will be available at registration. Please visit the IASD registration desk to request a reduced parking ticket.
Blue Line El Train to Chicago: The Blue Line station is in O’Hare airport. Take the complimentary hotel airport shuttle (see information above to find out how to take the airport shuttle) to O’Hare airport. From there you can catch the train. Train service operates 24 hours a day, from O’Hare airport to downtown Chicago. Depending on time of day, trains run about every eight minutes. Train travel time from O’Hare airport to downtown Chicago, the Clark and Lake train station, is 40 minutes.
