OPENING EVENT
Opening Event – Thanks for the Memories—A Gala Celebration of IASD’s 26th Conference and 25th Birthday featuring an opening ceremony honoring Earth and its dreamers, followed by people, pictures, and memories melded in multimedia presentations and personal stories marking the growth of the IASD Dream Tribe during the past quarter-century. Enjoy birthday cake and even more surprises!
Hosted by Rita Dwyer, IASD Founding Life Member, Past President and Executive Officer, Holder of History, and the only IASD member to attend all 26 conferences.
Rita Dwyer, BS, CPC, USA, is a former research chemist, co-author of aerospace patents and papers, IASD Founding Life Member, Past President (1992-93) and Executive Officer (1993-99), currently serving on several committees. A founder/facilitator since 1983 of the Metro DC Dream Community, she is also a writer, lecturer and certified pastoral counselor.)

TELEPATHY CONTEST
Bob Van de Castle initiated the Dream Telepathy Contest in 1985 and it has become a favorite event ever since, surprising skeptics and believers alike by proving that psi dreaming is an innate human skill. The contest is open to dreamers onsite as well as to dreamers online anywhere in the world who wish to join Bob and Rita Dwyer in this “Try Your Psi” test!

EARTH DREAMING NATURE HIKE
Hike in a beautiful regional park near the conference site to commune with nature, relax, or experience the plants and birds. Explore how dreaming and dream sharing can help to heal the planet. Network, exercise to balance sedentary conference events, or share dreams with themes of nature and the environment.
Travel in the hotel shuttle bus or carpool to Busse Woods, a regional park. Bring water, a snack and good hiking shoes.
Hike Facilitator: Alan Siegel, Ph.D.; is past-president and current education chair of IASD. He practices psychotherapy and is assistant clinical professor, U.C. Berkeley and faculty at Alliant University’s CSPP. He has been teaching dreamwork for over 30 years and is author of Dream Wisdom: Uncovering Life’s Answers in Your Dreams.
